HUMOR
When going through this journey, the last thing you need to hear is " laugh as much as possible and keep a sense of humor". However, many cancer patients gave me this advice. It was difficult when I felt like crying or was very depressed. These emotions are normal during the cancer journey. I tried to inject a sense of humor into many areas. I apologize if you feel any of my humor is inappropriate. It helped me desensitize some of the areas which were painful to me.
